CPA classes are held in the Spring and again in the Fall each year. We also offer a Sr. CPA class twice each year. Ready to apply? Download
an application and waiver above. Each CPA class fills the FPD training room with citizens' who live or work in Frisco eager to learn more about the inner working of the Police Department. The CPA began in 1997 as part of Chief Renshaw's vision for the Frisco Police Department as a department which involved and serves the community and its' citizens. The CPA is a ten (10) week program which provides many opportunities to observe and participate in 'hands on' activities. Each session is lead by an Officer or member of the PD staff. Students learn about, the PD Records department, Crime Scene Investigation, Traffic Stop procedures (hands on), Special Operations Unit (SWAT) drill and many more fun and informative sessions.
